Suet Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped suet
    1 c. raisins
    1 tsp. baking soda
    little salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    flour (to make quite stiff)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and fill cans 1/2 full. Cover with tinfoil and steam 2 to 3 hours. I set cans in water. Slice cold and steam before eating. (I use cans 3 or 4-inches in diameter.)
