Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. applesauce made from tart apples
1 1/2 c. sugar or to taste
1 tsp. cinnamon or 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cook slowly in a heavy crock-pot until thick.
Put in jars and seal while hot.
