Tater Tot Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean hamburger
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    32 oz. bag Tater Tots
    32 oz. bag shredded Cheddar or American (yellow) cheese
    1 tsp. garlic
    2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 c. chopped onion (optional)
Preparation
    First brown hamburger just until red disappears.
    Then add garlic, bell pepper and chopped onion and continue to brown hamburger all through.
    Drain all grease and juices from hamburger. Hamburger must be as dry as possible.
    Recommend to use paper towel in bowl to soak up grease.
    Put hamburger in 2-inch deep 15 x 10-inch baking dish (if possible or bigger) and spread out thoroughly.
    Cover with mushroom soup (do not mix, just cover). Spread out.
    Bake for 45 minutes.
    Set Tater Tots carefully on top so soup and hamburger are completely covered.
    Bake until Tots are brown.
    Add cheese and bake for 30 minutes more.
    Dish serves 5.
