Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Karo light syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 to 2 tsp. butter
    2 tsp. soda
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar, Karo and water until it spins a thread.
    Add peanuts and cook until dark amber color.
    Remove from fire.
    Add butter, soda, salt and vanilla.
    Stir vigorously and pour into buttered pans.
    Cool, then break into pieces.
