"Rise And Shine" Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (15 oz.) pkg. fresh hash browns (or if frozen, thawed)
1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
1 1/2 c. cooked ham, diced
1 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation

Place hash browns into greased 9-inch pie pan.
With fingers, press firmly to form solid crust.
Brush with butter and bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Remove from oven; reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0.
Onto potato crust, layer Swiss cheese, ham, Jack cheese, then mushrooms.
In small bowl whisk milk, eggs and seasoned salt. Slowly pour over pie.
Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until center is set.
Remove from oven; let stand 10 minutes before cutting into wedges.
Makes 4 servings.
