Pork Adobo(A Filipino Main Dish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pork chunks (similar to sweet 'n sour size)
    2/3 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. crushed garlic
    2 bay leaves, crushed
    4 to 6 Tbsp. soy sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    In a saucepan, put pork, vinegar, 1 tablespoon garlic, bay leaves, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil, then simmer, uncovered, until pork is tender (about 40 minutes; test with fork).
    If the sauce is reduced, add about 1/2 cup water.
    Remove meat from sauce.
