Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
4 egg whites
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. blueberries
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter, salt and sugar; add the egg whites one at a time. When all added, mix in the milk and the flour sifted with the baking powder.
Add the berries and pour into a buttered mold, cover and steam for two hours.
Serve with a hard sauce or lemon sauce.
