French Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie shell
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Brush pie shell with egg white and bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 1 minute (this prevents a soggy crust).
    Beat eggs slightly and add other ingredients.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake for 10 minutes at 400\u00b0, then reduce to 375\u00b0 and continue to bake for 30 minutes until firm and light brown.
