Double Decadent Chocolate Chip Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. (1 stick plus 3 Tbsp.) margarine or butter, softened
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. Quaker Oats (quick or old-fashioned), uncooked
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Beat sugar, margarine, eggs and vanilla until smooth.
    Add 1 cup morsels, melted.
    Mix well.
    Add flour, oats, baking powder, remaining 1 cup morsels and nuts, mixing well.
    Spread into prepared pan.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until brownies pull away from sides of pan.
    Cool completely.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
    Cut into bars.
    Makes 2 dozen.
