Baked Macaroni And Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sweet sausage
    1 chopped green pepper
    1 onion, chopped
    1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    2 c. water
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 lb. elbow macaroni
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Remove sausage meat from casings and crumble.
    In a skillet, fry sausage meat until browned.
    Add green pepper, onion, salt and pepper. Saute for 5 minutes. Do not drain.
    Stir in tomatoes, water and tomato paste. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Cook and drain elbow macaroni.
    Layer elbow macaroni and Mozzarella cheese in a baking dish, ending with a layer of macaroni.
    Pour sauce over macaroni and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
