Holiday Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. ground walnuts
    1/4 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin
    1 large can evaporated milk (1 2/3 c.)
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, salt and ginger.
    Cut in the shortening.
    Add the walnuts and mix.
    Stir in water.
    Shape into a ball.
    Roll out on a lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.
    Line a 9-inch pie plate with the pastry.
    Trim and flute the edges.
    Chill for 15 minutes.
