Quick Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 green pepper, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. or more chili powder
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/8 tsp. red pepper
1 (1 lb.) can red kidney beans
Preparation

Melt shortening in heavy skillet.
Add onion; cook until brown.
Add ground beef; brown.
Stir often so there will be no lumps of meat.
Add pepper, tomato soup, salt, chili powder, black and red pepper and kidney beans.
Heat mixture thoroughly; serve piping hot.
Serves 6.
