Macadamia Nut Chiffon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 envelope gelatin
4 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Macadamia nuts
1 c. whipping cream
1 baked (9-inch) pie shell
1/4 c. water
4 egg yolks
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix gelatin, sugar and salt.
Beat together egg yolks, cold milk and water.
Stir into gelatin mixture and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Chill, stirring occasionally, until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from spoon.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold nuts and whipped cream into mixture and add vanilla.
Pour into cooled pie shell.
Chill until firm.
Then top with additional whipped cream and sprinkle with Macadamia nuts.
