Frances' Green Party Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large pkg. or 2 small pkg. lime Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
1 envelope Dream Whip, prepared as on pkg. directions
16 large marshmallows
4 oz. cream cheese (at room temperature)
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, including juice

Preparation

Place the Jell-O in top of double boiler.
Add the boiling water.
Place the double boiler over hot water.
Stir until Jell-O dissolves.
Add marshmallows and stir until they are completely dissolved.
Add pineapple. Set aside until cool.
Set in refrigerator.
When it begins to congeal, add the cream cheese and Dream Whip that have been whipped together.
Pour into a sheet pan rinsed in cold water.
Refrigerate until set.
