Beet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    beets
    2 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook beets with peelings.
    Peel and pack hot in hot sterile jars.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon salt to each pint.
    Heat vinegar, water and sugar to boiling.
    Pour over beets.
    Seal.
