Creamy Cabbage-Apple Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    1 c. grated carrots
    1/2 medium green bell pepper, diced
    2 small apples, cored and diced
    1 Tbsp. minced onion or scallion (green onion)
    1/2 c. plain low-fat yogurt
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. mayonnaise
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of white pepper
Preparation
    In medium bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, green pepper, apples and onion (or scallion).
    In 1-cup measure or small bowl, combine yogurt, mayonnaise, salt and pepper; pour over vegetables and toss until well coated.
    Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
    Makes 4 servings.
    This will keep for several days in the refrigerator.
