Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 lb. butter or margarine, softened
    6 eggs, room temperature
    4 c. plain flour
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Combine sugar and butter.
    Cream until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.
    Stir in flavoring.
    Pour batter into well-greased 10-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until cake tests done.
