Sugarless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. water
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. rolled oats
    1 1/2 tsp. sweetener
    1 tsp. vanilla and butternut flavoring
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine raisins in water and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Let stand until cool.
    Add beaten egg.
    Add soft shortening, oats, sweetener and flavoring.
    Sift flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
    Mix all together well.
    Pour into greased one-layer cake pan and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Yields an 8-inch cake.
