Taboulee Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. medium bulgar
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
1/2 onion, chopped and sauteed
1 c. chopped green onion
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1/4 c. bell pepper
1 small can V-8 juice (optional)
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 fresh tomato, chopped
1 lemon, juiced
salt, pepper and cayenne to taste
Preparation

Mix water and bulgar together to moisten.
Saute onion and oil. Add to bulgar.
Set aside.
Mix together green onion, parsley and bell pepper.
Mix together remaining ingredients.
Add bulgur mixture.
Mix well, refrigerate and let stand 15 minutes or more. Serve.
