Pumpkin-Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine
3 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 - 16 oz. can pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter, gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine next seven ingredients, add to creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Stir in vanilla, raisins and pecans. Spoon into greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for
1 hour or until wooden pick tests clean. Remove from pans and cool on wire rack.
