Fudge Sundae Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 qt. vanilla ice cream
    vanilla wafers
    pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Cook milk, chocolate, marshmallows and salt in 1-quart saucepan over medium heat until chocolate and marshmallows melt and mixture thickens.
    Stir constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool to room temperature.
    Line bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan or two 1-quart ice trays with wafers.
    Spoon half of ice cream and chocolate over.
    Top with nuts.
    Refrigerate 5 hours.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
