Butter Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box confectioners sugar, sifted
    1/2 stick butter (not margarine)
    9 drops oil of peppermint
    2 to 3 Tbsp. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter; add oil of peppermint.
    Add milk to make a dough-like consistency.
    Add color if desired.
    Mold in rubber candy molds.
    Allow to dry at least 24 hours before packing in tins.
