Ingredients

1 lb. dried lima beans
6 strips bacon, fried crisp
1 medium onion, chopped fine
water
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cover beans with water; bring to a boil and simmer over a medium fire
for
1
hour.
Add
crisp crumbled bacon, salt, pepper and onion.
Cover
and cook until beans are tender, not mushy.
Serve hot.
Serves 10 to 12.
