Chocolate Pecan Butterballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine or butter
2/3 c. confectioners' sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. chopped pecans
Confectioners' sugar for coating
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine margarine, confectioners' sugar, cocoa, vanilla, and flour.
Beat until well mixed. This will be a thick mixture. Work the pecans into the cookie dough. Roll the dough into balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Coat with confectioners' sugar as cookies are removed from baking sheet. Place on rack to cool. Coat with confectioners' sugar again after the cookies have cooled. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.
