Desperation Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked beef sausage, sliced
    4 (15 oz.) cans butter beans or large lima beans
    2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    2 onions, chopped
Preparation
    In a large pot, brown the sliced sausage and onions.
    Open all the cans and add to the pot; don't drain.
    Cover and cook on medium to low as long as you want.
    It is ready in about 20 minutes, but can be started in
    the morning and cooked all day in a low crock-pot.
    Serves 4 to 6.
