Cheesy Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. macaroni (uncooked)
    1/2 lb. ground meat (beef or veal)
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    3/4 c. tomato sauce
    1/2 (10 oz.) can Cheddar cheese soup
Preparation
    Cook macaroni until slightly tender; drain.
    Set aside.
    Brown ground meat and onion in small skillet.
    Add tomato sauce and simmer 10 minutes.
    Oil a 1-quart casserole dish and spoon in 1/3 of meat mixture.
    Add cooked macaroni, then remainder of meat mixture.
    Spread cheese soup over all.
    (May be frozen, unbaked.) Cover tightly and bake at 400\u00b0 until bubbly.
    Serves 4.
