Cooky-Jar Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. ground ginger
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. sorghum molasses
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    Measure flour, ginger, soda, cinnamon and salt into sifter. Cream shortening until soft in medium size bowl.
    Gradually add sugar, creaming after each addition, until mixture is fluffy. Beat in egg and molasses.
    Sift dry ingredients over creamed mixture; blend well.
