Caramelized Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    2 large white or red onions, cut into 3/4-inch chunks (2 c.)
    4 tsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    In medium skillet, heat margarine or butter over medium-low heat until melted.
    Add onion.
    Cover and cook on medium-low heat until onion is tender, about 13 to 15 minutes.
    Uncover; add sugar. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until onion is golden, stirring constantly, about 4 to 5 minutes.
    Serve hot over burgers, prime ribs or beef steaks.
