Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. Butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. salted peanuts
Preparation
    In a 1-quart glass container, combine sugar and corn syrup and stir.
    Cook on high 4 minutes.
    Add peanuts and stir well. Cook on high for an additional 3 1/2 minutes.
    Add butter and vanilla, stirring well.
    Cook on high 1 minute.
    Add baking soda and stir gently until light and foamy.
    Pour mixture immediately onto buttered cookiesheet.
    Spread thinly.
    Cool and break into pieces.
