Microwave Pecan Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light Karo
    1 1/2 c. pecans
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Place sugar, Karo, salt and pecans in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir.
    Microwave 4 minutes.
    Remove bowl.
    Stir again, then microwave 4 additional minutes.
    Remove bowl.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Stir.
    Microwave 2 minutes.
    Remove from microwave. Add baking soda.
    Pour contents onto buttered piece of aluminum foil. Cool about 30 minutes.
