Banana Split Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vanilla wafers
    bananas
    1 large (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
    maraschino cherries
    chopped nuts
    1 egg
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    2 sticks butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine egg, confectioners sugar, butter and vanilla.
    Beat for 20 minutes.
    Line 9 x 13-inch baking dish with vanilla wafers; cover with sliced bananas.
    Pour egg mixture over all.
    Spread layer of crushed pineapple, then Cool Whip.
    Top with cherries and nuts.
    Cool until firm.
