Uncle Thanksgiving Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 loaf of bread--Mom uses seasoned bread crumbs
2 large onions, diced fine
2 green peppers, diced fine
2 stalks celery, diced fine
medium jar stuffed olives, diced fine--Mom uses salad olives
Preparation

Fry onion, celery, peppers and olives in a liberal amount of shortening--Mom uses butter--until celery is rather soft.
Season with salt and pepper.
Crumble bread and pour drippings from the bird on bread.
Mom uses chicken bouillon cubes.
Add mixture and mix.
Moisten well and season to taste.
Place in oven in greased baking dish 'till browned.
350 degrees about 45 minutes to an hour.
