Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
1 egg yolk
1/2 pt. whipping cream
12 to 16 oz. frozen strawberries
2 c. nuts, chopped
1 box vanilla wafers
Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients in top of a double boiler.
Stir until dissolved over boiling water.
Pour warm mixture into whipped cream.
Add defrosted strawberries and nuts.
Crush wafers.
Put a light coat of the crumbs in bottom of 2 ice cube trays.
Pour in strawberry mixture.
Cover the tops with more crumbs.
Cover with waxed paper or Saran Wrap and allow to stand overnight in freezer. (This keeps indefinitely in freezer.)
