Smoked Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 chickens
    2 qt. water
    1 c. pickling salt
    1 Tbsp. onion powder
    4 Tbsp. black pepper
    1/4 c. lemon
    1/4 tsp. maple flavoring
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. onion or garlic powder
    4 Tbsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Soak chickens overnight in water, pickling salt, onion powder, black pepper, lemon, maple flavoring and bay leaf.
    Rub on and in chickens brown sugar, onion or garlic powder and black pepper, then smoke.
