Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. Mazola oil
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in buttermilk
1 c. chopped prunes
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Break eggs in mixer; beat well.
Add the sugar and oil and beat on medium speed.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk with which the soda has been dissolved.
I cook the prunes and then I fold them in with the nuts and mix until they are all through the cake.
Pour in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 approximately 45 minutes.
