Old-Time Sugar Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour
2 c. light cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 unbaked pastry shell
Preparation

Combine sugars, salt and flour.
Add cream and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
Pour into pastry shell.
Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in very hot oven (450\u00b0) for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
Use fruit for garnish, preferably strawberries.
