Creole Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can chicken gumbo soup
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    2 Tbsp. catsup
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 hamburger buns
    1/4 c. butter, softened
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onion in skillet, stirring until ground beef is crumbly; drain.
    Add soup, prepared mustard, catsup, salt and pepper; mix well.
    Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until flavors are blended, stirring occasionally.
    Toast and butter buns.
    Serve ground beef mixture on buns.
    May top with lettuce, if desired. Yield:
    6 servings.
