"Yum Yum" Chilli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 large celery stalks, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    1 large can stewed tomatoes
    2 c. tomato soup
    2 c. water
    1 large can tomato paste
    1 c. red kidney beans
    1 c. refried beans
    2 tsp. chilli powder
    1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. cumin
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. basil
    salt and pepper as needed
Preparation
    Brown hamburger meat.
    Drain off grease.
    Add chopped onion, celery and green pepper.
    Saute for 5 minutes.
    Add rest of ingredients and simmer for an hour or more.
    Picante sauce can be added if desired.
