Pound Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. plus 3 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. flour
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. candied cherries
    dates (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Pour into greased loaf pans and bake at 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Turn oven up to 325\u00b0 and finish baking (approximately 3/4 to 1 hour more).
