Sweet And Sour Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    30 medium cucumbers
    1 sliced onion
    2 celery stalks, quartered
    8 heads fresh dill
    4 c. white sugar
    2 c. water
    1 qt. vinegar
    1/2 c. canning salt
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers and cut into chunks.
    Sterilize four 1 quart jars.
    To each jar add 4 slices of onion, 2 pieces of celery, and 2 heads of dill.
    Fill jars with cucumber chunks.
    Dissolve sugar and salt in vinegar and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover cucumbers in jars.
    Seal at once and for best results do not use for 30 days.
