Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 c. mashed banana
    2 tsp. buttermilk
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar and shortening, then add bananas and eggs.
    Mix well.
    Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk, then add to mixture. Add salt and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Gradually add flour, a little at a time while mixing well.
    Pour in greased and floured bread pan. Cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
