Hamburg Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburg
    1 onion, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes
    1/4 c. barley
    1 T. salt
    2 T. minced parsley
    Pepper
    2 (15-16 oz.) cans mixed vegetables
Preparation
    Fry hamburg with chopped onion. Drain excess grease. Add tomatoes and enough water to make 2 quarts. Add barley, salt, parsley and pepper. Simmer for 1 hour. Add mixed vegetables and simmer for another 30 minutes.
