Green Chili Canapes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks softened butter
    1 c. chopped green chilies
    minced garlic to taste
    1/2 lb. grated Monterey Jack cheese
    1 c. mayonnaise
    small slices French or rye bread
Preparation
    Mix and spread on bread.
    Broil until puffy and brown.
