Egg And Cheese Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine
    12 slices bread, remove crusts
    4 eggs
    1 pt. milk
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cream together cheese and butter, spread on slice of bread and cut it in quarters.
    Beat eggs well; add milk, salt and pepper. Put bread with cheese mixture on it in well-greased casserole. Pour egg and milk mixture over it and let stand overnight.
    Bake, uncovered, in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Serves 4.
