Butter Cookies For Christmas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter, soft
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    1 1/2 lb. or 6 c. flour
    3 eggs
    1 shot liquor (whiskey)
Preparation
    Put powdered sugar in a little at a time.
    Place well mixed dough in icebox and store overnight.
    Roll thin on a floured board and cut out shapes.
    Bake 5 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
    (May be cut in half).
    Makes a lot.
