Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks margarine, softened
1/2 c. shortening
5 eggs
3 c. sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. flavoring (any, but I use vanilla)
Preparation

Cream margarine and shortening with sugar; beat well.
Add eggs one at a time, beating after each egg.
Mix flour, salt and baking powder.
Add flavoring.
Pour in tubed pan, which has been greased and floured.
Place in cold oven and then turn heat to 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 and bake for 60 minutes and then check to see when done.
Takes about a total of 80 minutes.
