Country Breakfast Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon, cut in half
    2 c. frozen hash brown potatoes with onions and green peppers
    6 large eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. (4 oz.) Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Place bacon in a 9-inch pie plate.
    Cover with paper towels. Microwave on High, 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp.
    Remove bacon. Reserve drippings in pie plate.
    Crumble bacon and set aside. Spread potatoes in pie plate.
    Microwave uncovered at High, 6 to 7 minutes.
    Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
    Pour over potato mixture.
    Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap.
    Microwave at High, 6 to 7 minutes, giving dish a quarter turn after 3 minutes. Sprinkle cheese and bacon.
    Cover and microwave at High, 1 to 2 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes, then cut into wedges.
    Makes 6 servings.
