Hot Asparagus Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 to 20 slices white bread
    3 oz. Blue cheese
    8 oz. softened or whipped cream cheese
    1 egg
    18 to 20 stalks fresh cooked or canned asparagus
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
Preparation
    Cut off bread crust and slightly flatten with palm of hand or rolling pin.
    Mix together cheeses and egg; spread on bread. Place 1 asparagus stalk on each bread slice; roll up and secure with toothpick.
    Roll asparagus rolls in butter; put on cookie sheet and freeze.
    When completely frozen, slice each roll into 3 pieces.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0 and bake about 15 minutes.
    They will keep warm in oven forever.
