Mom'S Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 or 6 Russet potatoes
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes and boil in water enough to cover potatoes. Boil until potatoes are tender to touch. Drain off water and add butter, milk, salt and pepper. Let set long enough for butter to melt. With mixer, beat potatoes until light and fluffy. If potatoes seem too stiff, add a little milk and stir.
