Scripture Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. 1 Kings 4:22 (flour)
1 c. Judges 5:25 (butter)
2 c. Jeremiah 6:20 (sugar)
2 c. Samuel 30:12 (raisins)
2 c. Nahum 3:12 (figs)
2 tsp. 1 Samuel 14:25 (honey)
6 Jeremiah 17:11 (eggs)
1/2 c. Judges 4:19 (milk)
2 tsp. Amos 4:5 (baking powder)
2 Chronicles 9:9 (spices, season to taste)
Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar slowly and mix well.
Beat in egg yolks.
Sift flour and baking powder and add alternately with milk and honey mixture.
Beat well.
Add raisins and figs which have been coated with flour.
Fold in egg whites which have been beaten stiff.
Bake in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 in a well-greased tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
